Mostly lurking...

Also, I notice you take pictures of your food too! People laughed at me for documenting what I ate while in Budapest.

Well, hell yes! I mean, I want to remember it!

In I am idiot news, I just dumped a glass of water all over the bed. Oops.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Aw, beth's got my underwear readin' back.

A diner sounds good for dinner to me.

Matter of fact, a girlfriend I've been trying to get together with for an age is using my "Woman on the Verge" day as an excuse to get her pain in the rear husband to watch the kids tonight so we can go out. ("She's really having a rough day, she needs me!") I told her I could cry over the phone if it would help her case. Maybe we should go grab a diner dinner.

Honey Bunches of Oats:

I was thinking about comfort/stress eating earlier. By the time I finally left for lunch, I felt like I could have cried from frustration. When I came back I felt much more leveled out. I know it wasn't blood sugar or caffeine lack. (Well, I guess it could have been my system craving protein...) But anyway, is stress/comfort eating really so bad if it actually does release stress/provide comfort. Is getting a sammich from Submarina so bad if it saves me from AD's? I think maybe comfort eating gets a bad rap. Hmmmmm.

stress eating is usually defined as eating when not hungry.

right now, I am starving.

and it is very gross outside. and soggy. and it is getting colder....

but maybe no one else will be out....

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Suzi! I am so glad the job sitch is finally looking up for you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I tend to agree with you. As an occasional way to feel better, there are worse things you could do. If it becomes your only response to stress and you don't try to actually solve your problems or find better ways of coping, well, that would be bad, certainly.
