Ugh, yeah, the "teaching our children" thing...y'know, some of those children are gay. And having to be taught by bigots isn't any better!
Aimee, you can often find nude fishnets at Target, too, but it depends on the season, I think.
I left the house two hours ago. Got coffee. Hopped on a bus. Went to the DMV, got my driving record (fastest DMV trip EVAH--I got a number, sat down, and they immediately called it). Walked a few blocks to Nordstrom Rack. Tried on a few shirts. Took the bus home. Am EXHAUSTED. WTF?
I had a vanilla cupcake w/ raspberry buttercream frosting from Cake Love!
But wish I also had a beer.
But no beer until May 17.
kill Quakers, kill
And no one at the school found the dichotomy weird, to say the least?
meara, although I wish you'd stayed in this Washington, the transportation "planning" here seems to be hitting new lows. New shopping center at 14th and Irving/Park (including a Target) - lots of shoppers and they did build a garage. BUT! the developer wanted wide sidewalks so ... rather than reduing the buildings' footprints, they narrowed the street! And our new rail cars - the radios in the new cars aren't compatible with the system's radios ... so operators have to carry hand-held radios to communicate. THAT frightens me.
I wonder what the season for nude fishnets is.
connie, it was deliberate.
Haverford's traditional rival was Swarthmore and, at halftime, the marching kazoo and jug band would march (sort of) out onto the field and form a "half-S" in their honor. (This is the school where one year there was no football due to lack of interest.)
There is no beer here, but TCG is bringing home wine. Yay wine!
the best thing about St Patrick's day is the sale priced Guinness.
I wonder what the season for nude fishnets is.
All year!
My faves (Spanx) are expensive but have lasted me YEARS.
Yeah, I've also got a pair of Spanx fishnets that have lasted me a while.
I just ordered this headboard: [link] . Seemed like the best balance I could find between "not horribly expensive" and "not horribly ugly."
