Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I found out that my prize for the grad student award is $500. I think I'm going to use it to buy a new desk that I've been wanting for a while but held off on buying because it was too expensive. (I seriously dislike my current desk. It's an old Ikea desk made of actual wood, not particle board, which has lasted through about ten years and five owners and will probably last another ten years, but it's way too big for my apartment, and it's light wood, while everything else I own is dark wood. So if anyone in the DC area wants a free desk, big enough for a 17" monitor, in kind of gold-colored wood, let me know.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Honey, you just never worked at TPG. The USC/UCLA was HUGE there.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I guess this just shows that morons are universal.

Which I already knew, but...sometimes I like to live in a dream world where, maybe, somewhere...there is a place where morons aren't.

Aside from this board, naturally.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I dunno, I got no problem with college love. Maybe because my mom still roots for U of M, 58 years after graduating. It's no odder than people getting all proud of their state or type of computer or sports team or genre of music or game console or TV show. Peeps tend to get all proud of their self-selected group--that's why they selected that group in the first place.

But your talents would be wasted there!

Always Anti-fascist!

I have no Be True To Your School. I guess cause I went to one where if you're breathing and have 2.5 GPA they had to take you.(And they're not so picky about the 2.5.) So I don't care when they paint the mountain or any of that homecoming stuff

Agreed. But there's being proud of your group and there's thinking that your group is so awesome that all others suck. And verbalizing that. Loudly. Unrelentingly.

Kristin, I hope that Byron's tumors are nothing to worry about.
