Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

I've just spent several minutes trying to find an HR Block office near me. PR is currently plastered with their signs. I go to their website which says they have over 40 offices here but nothing shows up on the locater when I search. (I suspect this is because the locater is for "domestic" offices and they consider us foreign.) I check the foreign page - it lists PR but the link goes nowhere. I try to contact customer support but that form keeps having errors and there's no PR option anyway. Finally, I find a phone number which lists an office. Still, that's way too much work for a customer to have to do!

Now, back to trying to sleep.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've just discovered that there are a whole bunch of videos on youtube of scenes from Newsies set to songs from Rent and vice versa. I'm kinda puzzled. For the most part, they're not vids in the usual sense that I think of them -- it's not different clips spliced together. It's just, Rent music over an entire scene from Newsies, or Newsies music over an entire scene from Rent.

Heh. So how's that grading coming? (insert sly winky emoticon here)

I have slogged through five comments and need to go to bed. Night!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congratulations, Hil! That's awesome.

vw, I'm glad today went well for you.

For those Bitches who like eye candy.

I'd like an entire bag, please.

Raq is going to kill me between yesterday's food porn and today's eye candy.

in my mom's box of stuff from when she worked on the Apollo Project.

That's too cool.

Delete that post right now Hil before Joe sees it and breaks into your house. I'm not even kidding.

My DH would fight Joe to the death for those manuals. It might be amusing to watch.

Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow, I say.

ION, it appears as if my hair is now black. I left Natural Darkest Brown on a little too long, and it morphed into Natural Dark as Night. My hair hasn't been this dark in years. It's going to take some getting used to.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's nearly 3 a.m. I am up with a wide-awake toddler. Right now, I'm giving thanks for 24 hour programming on Noggin.

I have my first driving lesson in a couple of hours.

Here's hoping I don't actually kill anyone.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Learning to drive is best done on a quiet back-country road. Where you aren't going to hit another car if you screw up.

My father taught me to drive. His first step was to spend six months scouring the county for the most deserted road possible. A good thing, too -- on my first effort, I promptly drove into a ditch.

I got better.
