[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hi, Cindy - birthday happies to you.

Jessica, I adore the lavender hair. And we may have to come up with a new word that adequately combines the evol!overlordness and utter cuteness of Dylan.

Way, way too cute.

What is even happening?

"In your arms, your arms ache; out of your arms, your heart aches.”

Oh Raq, even better -- you quoted my Nana. I have a hard time on my birthday. It makes me miss my people who are already gone. A lot. It was accidentally smart of me to stumble back to my people who are not actually gone. Hi, my Bitches.

edit: Hi, Andi. I've got to run, everyone. My mom is coming to take me out to lunch in about 20 minutes and I haven't even showered yet. Thank goodness I still have a Pixie cut (cc: Hec, yet again).

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

ION, ugh. And gronk.

4 1/2 hours of sleep last night. I should've gone to bed earlier, but if I'd fallen asleep quickly and not woken up till the alarm went off I would've had a nice healthy 6 1/2 hours or so. But no. I stressed about the worst of the work problems (where worst=the one that most involves me personally), tried to think how to word an email I'm going to have to send, etc., till well after 1:00. Then woke up at 5:30 and instead of burrowing back under the covers for another 45 minutes of sleep, lay there staring at the clock and thinking about the email.

I'm so over dreading going into work in the morning. Sigh.

Susan, good luck today.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

You think the gods have a message board? Like "www.deitistas.org"?

Sounds more like a board for dyslexics that are trying to lose weight.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Just in time, Amy. Tomorrow I'm going to start taking Chantix to help me quit smoking (cc: Hec).

Duly noted with great enthusiasm!

Happy birthday, Cindy! We miss you very much.
