[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Morning, all! My flu has morphed into an endlessly running nose. Which I guess means my sinuses are draining or something, because the pressure in my head has gone all weird, which makes me feel a little tipsy.

Which is unfortunate, because I'm at work. With impressionable youngsters.

Wheeee!

Congratulations, Sox! Was your realtor L & F? I can't remember -- but if so, they sent us all sorts of "How was your experience?" surveys that you can look forward to filling out and speaking truth to power about your slacker agent.

We travel to Richmond tonight for a short visit (I'm dropping off b'day presents for Katie -- she's 18 next week!) so that I can take Molly to get her ears pierced because her mother claims she can't watch.

eta: those girls mentioned above are Sox's first cousins once removed, I don't expect anyone else to know who I'm talking about.

Feel better-er ~ma to Maria and Emily!

Congratulations, Sox! I missed the house pictures somehow.

Emily, feel better.

not your mom's socks.

Was your realtor L & F? I can't remember

yes they were... and yes I will. ::Readies list of adjectives::

Good on you for taking Molly! She'll love it! I should look through my earring collection ... I MAY still have a set of green 'm' studs somewhere. I can't believe Kate is going to be 18. That just seems like crazy talk to me. Have a good time in Richmond.

Don't you think I missed your news earlier - yay teaching in Poland!!! Do you know where? I have some Tatras Mountain places you should check out for a whirlwind eastern-block romantic weekend... Also, slight chance we may go to Slovenia in the fall. Very slight.

if missed the pics, I can re-post them for a little bit, should people want. But I'd like to wait until the west coast rouses itself... so maybe around 1pm eastern?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

For years, my mother though LOL stood for "Lots of love" because it seemed to be used as a sign-off.

Okay, I am so in the mood for some chit-chat. Let me propose a topic. Baseball caps: remove them when you go inside/in the presence of a lady, or no? Any small-town-in-the-country folks with experience to weigh in on this etiquette question?
