1. Watched a high speed chase fly by on the 405
2. Drove all the way home in the dark wearing my prescription sunglasses because I accidently left without my regular glasses this morning.

duh. don't announce. make a couple of small trips carrying individual items you need to take with you, so no one notices that all of your stuff is gone. I actually think I'm just going to head out. They are doing woodwind overdubs now and another load of work just landed on me so that we can have a set of CDs ready to send out to the press on Tuesday. This is the first that I've heard about the requirement for these CDs.

My own old house, I'll just be glad to be out from under it. DH was reassured today by no fewer than three people (including his boss' boss) that the company would work with us on our buyout and we're still on track. The realtor has assured us that she will straighten out the contractor or find a new one. So I'm hoping we'll only have three more months of carrying two mortgages. *knockswood*
