Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Who was the wisest character on Winnie the Pooh?

Pointless discussion.

It was obviously Eeyore.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Thank you, Gloomcookie, Ginger and Laura!

Ginger, so glad you didn't sustain any damage in the tornado. It's true they sound like trains. I doubt my dog would wake up, though. She's napping right now! Darn her for being so cute...

Who was the wisest character on Winnie the Pooh?

Without a doubt it was Eeyore.

Mostly lurking...

One of the guys was arguing it was Owl. I pointed out that was too obvious.

Our wings are not tired

Happy Birthday GG.

The schedule is crazy making and right now I'm being buggered by The Mouse, but it's a cool project and a show that's going to look and sound really good when we are done.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Isn't the point of Owl that he sounds wise, but is not actually wise? I think Christopher Robin is the wisest Pooh character.

Am I right in thinking that your DH works for the utility in question, GG?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah, Owl acts wise and people treat him that way, but he isn't. I eman, he signs his name Wol.

Christopher Robin is probably the wisest, but I am also a big fan of Piglet.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Thanks ND and javachik!

ND, if there is anything I can do to help with the mouse, let me know. I'm sure the design will be amazing when you are done.

Ginger, yep, DH works for Progress Energy. Turkey Point was already off line before he left for work. I think he said another plant was off line as well. He was hoping the plants here don't trip tonight.

That would be nice. (You would appreciate that the media is irritating me by saying that the power is out because the plants are off line. No, the plants are off line because the power outages spiked the grid, and nukes aren't exactly instant-on.)
