All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Brenda, I'm sorry. That's awful.

Aimee, UGH--poor woman. I hope she'll be ok.

Made it home and into bed around 1 a.m. The drive home was an open-the-windows, put a cold drink to my face to keep me awake kind of drive, which I hate. But as long as I made it, I'm happy. The $200 flight was worth the drive to Milwaukee and I had a great time seeing all my girlfriends back in Columbus.

I think my seatmate from Columbus to Philly was hitting on me, though. He was getting his laptop out and asked me if I liked Immortal Beloved. I told him yes and he offered me a spare set of headphones and we watched it together. When we had to put it away, I asked him if his screensaver was his son and we chatted for a while. Fortunately, after I told him I was married we moved on to chatting about my girlfriend in Columbus (after I told him we had a 40th birthday party for her). He asked me if she was cute and gave me his card to give to her. He was sort of nice and not bad looking. I'm going to see if M wants his info.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

To be fair, our Royal family is largely German. And Greek. But I'm sure Aimee has a clearer grasp of where they got imported from than I do.

They are! The Royals last name was Saxe-Coburg-Gotha until 1917 when they changed it to Windsor to sound less-Germanic and King George denounced all of his German titles. He then named the family after the castle. But the Royal family has been mostly German for ... well, it seems ever.

I can't remember where the Greeks came down through. Must check!

Looks as though the Greek is just from Prince Philip.

Mmm...Greek.

Prince Phillip is Greek, isn't he?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Greek royal family was Danish.

Mmmm....Danish.

I'm hungry now.

But yeah - the British royal family is actually, quite not English. It's all German and Scots and Greek and some other stuff thrown in.

Day 3 of the ick. Am better than yesterday or Saturday, but still pretty ooky. Probably not contagious though. Should I be cancelling my dentist appointment?

So where do the Hapsburgs come in?

Also, I have The Ick. Really wish there'd been just a little more snow so we could've had a four-day weekend. I would've called in sick today if I could have figured out how.

I will have to check this out also. My knowledge is not quite as I thought. I'm missing all sorts of info.
