All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It's not so much the practicing that bothered me, so much as the utter terror of the possibility he might perfect it.

move out and draw fire

Which I just found out now (having gotten to work an hour ago) because it didn't even occur to me to listen to the radio this morning to find out.

This was me the first time daycare was shut here.

We are all at home. Everything is encased in ice, and there was something like a 60-car pileup with possible fatalities in MD. Would be a good day to have a fireplace.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

...and if you go...chasing wabbits...

Heh.

That reminds me of this bit some comedian did, about Elmer Fudd starring as Kurtz in Apocalypse Now...

Da howah... Da howah....

And of course, the classic Elmer Fudd sings Bruce Springsteen (Robin Williams, I think).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jennifer Lopez had twins today.

And I seem to suck at posting a link today.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I had 2 people to see today. 1 canceled. So I'm taking a snow day. Not worth cleaning of the car and trudging to the office for 30 minutes of work.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm at work. Ice isn't nearly as bad as the Weather Channel said it would be.

But I'm not predicting what it will be like this evening.

If the snow keeps up like it is, this will be a non-event storm. However, I fear that will not be the case. Loving that there's next to no wind, however. It looks very pretty right now.

not your mom's socks.

ditto, without the 60-car pileup (yo' MD-DC beltway drivers: CHILL on the ROADS. Seriously, I've seen your driving skilz... Stay home.)

We've flattened every possible part of the front yard into snow-angels and boot-stomp places. and cleaned off all of the chairs and flat surfaces. Now we're drying out and making 'warm' chocolate. And then cookies. I'm hoping she's up for a nap today...

have good snowdays, mid-atlantic 'istas! Also NYistas!

The status is NOT quo.

Oh snow days! I don't miss winter much, but I do miss the snow sometimes, and especially the utter bliss of snow days.

Morning, all. I have more to accomplish before 3pm than is humanly possible. I keep breaking into fits of hysterical laughter as I contemplate it.
