Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I"m feeling super accomplished this morning. I finally got our wireless network set-up properly (need more than one router to cover the entire house) which means that the Tivo is finally connecting as it should. Which means that I can cancel our 2nd Tivo account as soon as they open and hopefully downgrade out Netflix membership. (We got an AppleTV while back in the States and it totally rocks!)

Yeah, I did sleep about 3 hours last night and I totally should be napping but it feels so good to *accomplish* stuff while the baby sleeps.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH wants Apple TV, Stephanie.

You're very accomplished. Now go take a nap!

Librarian Warlord

"I'm so sorry. I'd like to pay my respects but realize you may need me to man the office today."

This is perfect, Aimee. If he does want you in the office, then a card and a frozen casserole may mean just as much as your attendance at the funeral.

We just got word that the big boss is out today, which means no weekly department heads meeting for me, which makes today an easy one at the office for me, barring any unforeseen events like yesterday's old lady who was walking around the library calling all the African-American female students "bitch!"

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, crap. He's not answering his phone.

The AppleTV is really very very cool. We are 100% (well, maybe 99%) happy with it. The only annoying thing is that the remote seems to trigger all other Macs in the area. V. annoying if you are watching TV with your laptop in the room.

We don't have Macs--is it compatible with PC's? We've got iTunes on everything and would like to be able to view that stuff on our tv.

I realize I just suggested complicating an already overcomplicated system but it's so SHINY!

move out and draw fire

More like arriving at a party wearing a dress you stole from another girl.

And as a result the other girl moves jerkily due to lag, and blips in and out of visibility.

I think it works with PCs - the box says it does.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I give up on booking a flight today. I'll leave it up to TCG to decide whether he wants to miss a meeting or pay an extra $150 to go a few days later.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have to go to NM for a wedding. I know that it's most of the way across the country, but $312 seems a bit much.
