You want to go a'smiting? I'm in the mood to terrify some idiots.
unfortunately, this is actually MY fault. I just didn't notice that it said July 1 and not August 1.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

my goal was to read two scripts today. Between the office mate talking himself through the e-mails, and the play actually putting me to sleep (3 times so far), I'm still not done with script #1. Yikes. My body still isn't used to the morning routine. It likes the night work schedule better. o well.
Raq, awesome cut!
ND, come home soon!
Good lord, this week we've had a confirmed case of strep AND a confirmed case of lice in Owen's classroom. Thankfully, not Owen. But still. The class is only six kids!
Preschool is fun.
Put Owen in a bubble STAT!
Yikes!
I have to say, one day when I picked Mal up and his hair was neatly combed I thought, "Ah, crap, lice."
omnis, maybe the fact that the play's putting you to sleep isn't such a good sign...
Raq, I LOVE the hair!!!
I also love this post on BoingBoing: [link] It will surprise no one that I particularly want the troll and the gargoyle. Yes.
Eep! Stay healthy and lice free ~ma to Owen.
Gorgeous new hair, Raq!
A round of ~ma and a round of drinks to all who need it.
omnis, maybe the fact that the play's putting you to sleep isn't such a good sign...I don't pick them, I just do the sound for them. And yes, yes it is an ongoing problem. And we wonder why our subscriber base is dwindling.
Just got back from taking Emmett to the doctor. His hearing is okay, just a little off. They prescribed Sudafed to dry up his ears which have some water in them.
Extra bonus? Then we got a flat tire. Boo!
Well, I got word back today that they chose someone else for the facility coordinator position, someone with a lot more experience. I'm a bit disappointed, but not terribly so. I'm more relieved, I think. I've been really enjoying my job exactly as it is, and I had been worried that being stuck in one location would yield less happiness.
Not really in need of hair pats, as Harvey is purring his little heart out, and I've been doing little pampering things for myself - long hot shower with rose scented soap followed by coconut oil/aloe skin treatment, there was some delicious pasta with diced tomatoes and asiago cheese for supper, and now a nice cup of mocha.
Plus there is the bonus of not really having to deal with the two coworkers who have challenging work personas. Well, I have to work with them, and report if they cross any serious lines. But I don't have to have the ugly, serious conversations with them when they cross minor lines.
