Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma to Fay's friends in Kenya, and to Nora's Dad.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, I have talked (read: cried) to Boss about what I did and he reassured me that while it was most certainly NOT ok for me to lose my temper and call her that name, he understands why things can get so heated with certain tenants.

It is hard to decide what to do over here. I get excited about going to France and Italy and only live a short plane-hop away. So many things! That are fancy!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Aimee, I'm glad you were able to get some boss sized reassurance. Like you said, not that he approves, but it is good that he understands.

Thanks, babe. He's had dealings with her before so he gets how things can escalate.

I do think, however, that being in an position where I have to evict people is not good for me anymore.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Ireland is well worth seeing. Paris alone is worth a week or more. And there's the rest of France and Italy.

It's the classic problem when Americans go overseas. So much out there, so little time.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My aunt is going to England to visit her daughter and they're going to Ireland next week. I'm green with envy.

Ultrasound went ok. Found some lumps but they appear to be benign. Yay.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Heck, I lived in Spain for three years and only saw the merest portion of the country, mainly the province of Andalucia, where the base was. Most of my vacations were actually spent in Germany, where my daughter lived and then that was always small towns outside of Ramstein AFB. So. little. time. to see it all.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Zmayhem will definitely and unquestionably be taking a trip up to Seattle this year, because those are ridiculously cheap tickets (I just looked and was quoted $77 each way, but that's still ridiculous in a good way) and it's rental-car-driving distance from Portland, which has also been on our must-visit-soon list for far too long (and tickets to which remain ridiculous in a less-good way). We just have to get a calendar and start plotting.

Playdate!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I lived in England for a year and feel like I barely scratched the surface.
