Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ack, DJ, how frustrating! I'm glad we're here for venting so you don't actually have to kill DH.

Good lord me too! I was shaking earlier (though that may have been since I hadn't eaten since last night). Still peeved, but no longer ragey angry.

And yeah, my fault I didn't grab money, but this shit with the phone is all the time. When he needed the card before I got him one, he'd just call and I'd bring it to him or I would call him to see if he needed it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Trudy, I hope you're feeling better tonight.

{{{DJ}}} That shaky, hungry feeling sucks.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I might check to see if they're carrying them now.

Yeah, can't hurt to check. No idea where they ship from, but they've been on time or early for all my deliveries so far.

Oh hey, are you back in town by around the 18/19th? I'm pretty sure that's when I'm likely to be in DC, and I'm hoping for F2F-age.

Here's where I would expound my theories about what guys didn't get on the missing leg of the Y-chromosome (i.e. a certain degree of considerateness, the ability to put TP on the roll), but I won't - in consideration of our charming Boy-Bitches (and the fact that it would probably make me sound like a bitter old somethin-or-other...)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So sorry you're still miserable, Trudes. Is the misery at least somewhat lessened?

Thanks. The misery has shifted, now its stuffy head, achey, and weak.

My appetite is still shot so I don't feel compelled to test my tummy though it has been behaving a bit better (entirely possible, of course, that the bit better is due to being almost entirely empty).

Knock wood I don't have a Hil reaction to the Dayquil -- never have before. Its too much medicine as I don't need cough supressant, but I didn't feel up to reading microprint until I found one without it.

I would argue that it's not a boy/girl thing in the sense of genetically ingrained, but rather that, in general, it's not socially expected. Mr. Jane can be really thoughtful and sweet, but it's not as fundamental for him to worry about whether I'm comfortable.

ETA: A hearty congratulations and thank you to our Boy Bitches who have bucked convention.

and have I mentioned that my TV is dead? this is no way to be sick

the only good thing about today is that when I checked my mma school's website I was treated to a new picture of beloved instructor. [link] (goodness knows why he's wearing a brown belt)

Thrive to spite them

Maybe the patented Buffista ma hasn't failed me yet!

I got a call from my aunt saying that she doesn't think her boss has called anyone for interviews.
