'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Forget the sticks - it's OMNIS WITH A FACE! YAY!!

I'm glad someone else asked for pics, because now I get to see them!

OK, now I really am blushing. Um. There are more pics of me in my Facebook and Match.com profiles.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Omnis was the second pic taken at the park near Laguna Beach? That trail looks really familiar.

I just got the email from IT about how we're going to have to start employing more secure passwords. I'm already following all the new guidelines. Yay me! (passwords must be at least 8 characters long and have at least one capital letter, one lowercase and one number)

Thrive to spite them

Andi, Any photographer should do what the bride wants but maybe someone who is older would get the pictures she wants. My SIL goes for the photo journalistic style but she also does the traditional stuff that people want. Mostly she wants her clients to be happy and that's what you should look for in a photographer.

Laga, nope, that pic is up in Joshua Tree. The South side of the park in the spring time. It's in the Cholla Garden.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Why is it that so many smokers are also litterbugs? Not only the butts, but also wrappers? they leave them everywhere.

I assume most are a bit more civilized (and with Buffista smokers, I'm pretty sure), but I'm always coming upon empty packs and other debris.

Maybe it's just a low percentage, but that low percentage sticks out.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

A couple years ago I was designing (sound) a show for a director who is rather clueless. It was set in England. And there was a bit with the cell phone going off. The director, being the ass that he was, insisted that it had to be the ring-ring.....ring-ring... cadence like a landline. I tried to explain to him that the cell would be anything the user wanted it to be. He didn't believe me.

What. The. Fuck?

...is this guy under the impression that outside of the USA we're all living in Merchant Ivory movies? I mean, yay Victoriana and Steampunk sensibilities, but - technology! We have it too! Even - gasp - mobile 'phones! And iPods! And all that crazy newfangled stuff!

bangs head on desk forever.

Fay. O dear. Love of my life. Wait. Before you dent your forehead. There is one other bit of information you should know.

Said director RUNS THE THEATER... well, co-founded it, and co-runs it. But ya, he's the big cheese at my work place. His sandbox. The same guy that hates me. Yup. Confirmed from Ass't boss whose last day was last week. Had a nice chat with him. Dorko ubber-boss hates me cuz I'm not a "team player" because I don't like to break labor laws that don't benefit me to save the theater money.

O god. I could vent for HOURS. I should stop. I'm on a 3 day weekend.

But yes, Ms Fay. Now you understand why my forehead is so dented (not to mention the desk!)

Mostly lurking...

vw, I am amazed that you're even considering adding to your load. Jeebus, don't you ever sleep!

These days, ALL the time! :)

I hope you heal quickly. Take good care of yourself and ssssllleeeeeeeep.

Thank you. I’m trying. Mom is here to help with stuff this day. She’s doing my laundry so I don’t have to walk up and down my stairs. Boy, that right there really helps, because going up and down the stairs just completely knocks me out.

By the way, I noticed where you mention your counselor seeing your records. Actually, I copied it, but it seems to have slipped away. Anyway, I've always been kind of amazed by your access to and coordination of care, and even so, I was surprised. I don't think I've ever seen this before, and was wondering if it's fairly standard there, or something that you set up purposefully, or because of a program you're in?

I have no idea how standard it is, but it is one of the reasons I chose the hospital I did. I have no private practice doctors. All of my doctors are through my hospital, so they all write notes in the same computer system, which means they all can access all of my records. I find it incredibly helpful, and I do think it has made coordination of care MUCH easier, which I really needed--especially when all of this started six years ago.

Good luck with the interview, d!

I meant to sleep in. Really. Stupid coughing and raw throat waking me up in misery. Wow. You guys are gonna be so glad when I’m better and back to just bitching about school and tutoring and too much on my plate!
