Aaaaaand now I'm wondering what would happen if Ned touched one of Mrs. Lovett's pies. Ewwwwww.
Oh, now there's a horrifying and delightful plot bunny!

'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

For Valentine's Day, I got the kids strawberry flavored water in cute, little kid-sized bottles and for Christopher, I got him a new, spiral-bound atlas (yes, it is the geekiest of gifts because he likes to follow tv shows and movies with his atlas).
Raise your hand if you have no childcare tomorrow, as well as Monday.
Oof, sorry to hear that Sox. You could send her down here and I could see if they'd let her stay at Sass' day care! Imagine how tired she'd be! (And dirty, too!)
There's a student standing outside my office, talking to another librarian, lying through his teeth. Dude, I did not tell you that when you called!

I would be all over this if I had seen more than one lonely episode of Pushing Daisies.
Gosh, it's a good thing I'm working from home today. Otherwise I'd be able to act on my urge to go thwack a writer with a croquet mallet.
I'm scheduled for my first mammogram tomorrow morning. Yipes, I feel old. And saggy.
Maria, insent to your gmail account about lunch next week!
Backflung!
Aimee, please tell me we will have pictures of Em's insane VDay adorableness.
JZ and Hec, I'm sorry about cranky babies and bad knees and cars that aren't reliable anymore.
My fingers are crossed for the minimum boob squish-age necessary, Cash.
Maria! Smooches! And nibbles!
Sending lots of breast-waffle~ma your way, Cash. I'm 4-5 months from my first and not much looking forward to it (except that I suck at BSE -- my tissues are very lumpy and dense and a nice detailed scan powered by SCIENCE! will be a vast improvement over the current system of fingertips and forgetfulness).
Big Maria hugs! And our car isn't not reliable anymore; it never was reliable. My Big Life Goals have dwindled from Great American Novel and Writing Staff/Recurring Character on America's Favorite Tee-Vee Show to Scrape Together Enough To Buy A Used Toyota When The Chrysler Finally Kicks It.
Hec can use all the good wishes you've got for his knees, though, with Little League season coming up and all.
And in return, I send better hockey/everything else in life balance~ma to your DH.
Hugs on Maria - just because.
Heh, JZ. I'm still shooting for Great American Novel, but in the short term I'll settle for the new owner of our house not jacking up the rent, our 10 and 12-year-old cars holding together a few years longer, neither of our jobs being de-funded in state budget cuts, etc. And, if we're really, really lucky, that inheritance we're waiting to hear about will still be there.
