Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Speaking of pitchers...Roger Clemens is fucking himself RIGHT NOW on tv. Only they just took a break. Getting snippy with Henry Waxman will NOT help him. At all.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

TODAY.

Tomorrow.

Compassionately intolerant

But since Sass gets kibble now, maybe the easiest thing to do is it to use bits of kibble for training treats.

This is what I do with Bartleby. I just take out a portion of his regular meal, pop it in a pocket sized plastic bag and we are good to go.

I have a dog park friend who actually uses blades of grass as rewards for his dog's good behavior! Fancy treats are nice, but not all that necessary.

She is unimpressed by this; she won't take it as a treat but just sniffs and then turns her big, sad brown eyes on you as if to say, "I sat! I targeted! Can't I have something better?"

I think we'll use some cheese tonight, since I can cut that up into extremely small pieces.

Owen shut the door on her and tried to carry her down the hall.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My *own* opinion is that your activity load right now sounds high for ANY adult, not just you.

What Teppy said, in spades, with sugar on top, and to the nth degree.

The Boy gives the dogs kibble as treats, and he always chortles that they're not very bright because they "think it's really treats."

My contention is that they *know* it's kibble, but they're DOGS; they're *always* happy to get food of any kind, at any time.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Baseball! Even though I'll mostly be obsessing over the progress of all the A's prospects in the minors this year. "Which Gonzalez will stand up?! Carlos or Gio? Will Fautino be a stud or another 95 mph bust? How's Trevor Cahill's knucklecurve? Is Chris Carter mashing the ball in Single-A? Should I root for Ryan Sweeney or Aaron Cunningham in centerfield? Why don't we have any middle-infielders, dammit."
