Hello Bitches!
I am currently posting from home. No I didn't get sent home from work- i'm on my lunch break. Normally my lunch will be from noon - 1pm but I'm taking the time that the person who is training me is taking. There's no breakroom at the new place but there are conference rooms people eat lunch in. There's a tv so sometimes people watch soaps (Depending on their break time) or star trek (Found trekkie there) or play Scrabble.
But I like it, it's laid back. I won't be able to leave my desk without coverage but I'll get a 10 min break in the morning and afternoon.
Sounds good, askye! I hope the new job continues to be good to you.
But now I'm thinking that I'll just have them do it, play a game or two with them for a bit, then let them go do the decoration painting.
Anticipates some unintentional abstract art in vw's future.
Painted Blokus pieces? It's a good possibility.

Not to mention walls, clothes, faces...

Eh. This is what plastic table cloths, aprons, button-down shirts, etc. are for. And, I'd be really surprised if they tried to paint the walls. Though, now that I said that, I'm sure I just jinxed myself. Although, this is why I bought washable paint.
When I was a little kid, I remember that the teacher asked each of our dads to donate an old button down for art projects. It was perfect for keeping us covered and we were wearing something from our daddies!

Yeah. I got this idea from msbelle. I've now got a huge bag of donated shirts for the kids to wear. It's really great.
Yay for 1st days! Nice that you can get home for lunch, askye. It is good to stay in and socialize, but I enjoy getting home for lunch.
Home sick today. Can't breathe. For some unknown reason I still have plenty of energy, just a really stuffed up head. A bit daffy too. I've had to re-read work emails several times before hitting send.
Very amused by the mass of college literature we are receiving since Brendon took his PSAT. He'll take the SAT next year and I am forcing him to actually prepare. He is used to walking in with no prep and getting almost perfect scores. If it is so easy he can humor me and do the prep courses. I do have to work on his writing, big time. He is Mr. Minimal.
Gah. Feel as though I have a pre-migraine headache. Very smell sensitive. Not sure if I want to go home or if it is better to just power through and hope it goes away.
