It's raining here tonight and it is a beautiful thing. We need it so bad. It is a nice gentle rain too so it is getting a chance to soak in and not just run off. Yay rain!

Lunch was fun, only got one gag gift of Centrum Silver. But there were black lei's, black pins and other "40 is OLD" type decoration. Mom also snagged my tiara and taped in a "Happy Birthday" thing.
Now I'm trying to recover from spending so much time in the car with folks. Eventually there will be Japanese food with the rest of my family.

Yes, yes it is. Wish you were free--I was going to try to tempt you up to Pasadena tonight to hang out. Instead, I'm doing my taxes. What's up with that?!?Too tired to drive up there tonight, so glad you didn't ask. I should be off next weekend if you want to do something.
Learned at the end of the day that tomorrow there isn't one performance but TWO! Thankfully its a short show, but oy vey did that take the wind out of the sails. Two shows AND rehearsal. I just want this week to end!
