Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh, I didn't know that. Wouldn't surprise me. Well I'll give a call on Monday and see what's going on. I'll also tell my parents, who use the same teachers' CU, to double-check their accounts. Thanks for letting me know, both of you! The Buffista hivemind is truly great.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I just sent out an email to my family - I'm fairly certain my sister in the military uses them almost exclusively and I am betting my parents still have accounts with them

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

FWIW, my sister sent me pictures of my new car!!! (I bought it via my folks in their town -- better deals)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Okay, just some quick pet weirdness:

Slinky the cat apparently loves corn on the cob. Who knew?

Spy Kitty sees what you just did there.

Toke contemplates the life of a cat. Because black and white makes *everything* look arty.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Commiserations and congratulations as needed, desired, craved, merited.

I had an ADD afternoon, made worse, I'm sure, by the cold left lingering in the aftermath of Martian Death Flu. Honest, I really can upload pics from my camera, I've done it before, many times. Using various and sundry software still on my computer. Thank goodness StY was around, I was ready to cry real tears. He showed me how to turn the flash off, too. Which I would have found reasonably quickly, most other times. I hate feeling like a four year old.

But! Suzi's birthday, you say? Felicitations, sweetie! May the year ahead be full of light and laughter and new and exciting experiences!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I had an appointment with a matchmaking service for noon today. I didn't make it at noon. My poor car (for the second time, third if you count the rogue dumpster that ran amok in the parking lot three years ago) got rear-ended while on an exit ramp. I think she be jinxed. This will be her fourth trip to the body shop (let's not forget the bad hail storm two years ago) since I bought her five years ago. Sigh.

Oh Sail, poor car. And poor you! Are you okay?

My right shoulder is a little stiff, I think I tensed up when I saw the guy in my rear view mirro and had the feeling he just wasn't going to be able to stop. Otherwise, I'm fine. I might take some Aleve before bed for the shoulder.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yikes Sail! Get better soon.

Omnis, if it had been auto-pay, I would have been fine. It was a paper check they processed twice.
OMG! That's crazy.

Change of subject: It is GORGEOUS outside today! Sunny, 75 degrees, and spring-like. I ate a bagel outside in a sunbeam a little bit ago, AIWFG!
OMG! That's Envy! Tho, I did just get back from our little lunch break before the performance. I had my PB&J, then, since the weather is so gorgeous, I took a walk around the building to soak in some warm sun and "fresh" air. It was very therapeutic. Must remember to do that more in nice weather. Too much time in a stress filled dark theater is bad for the soul, I suspect.
