Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just paid all the monthly bills and I know where all the money is coming from! Yay me! I even have a little left over to buy more stuff for the new cat who, due to an unfortunate confluence of Kevin Smith love and the discovery of a new comic book, is under the potential threat of being named Ubu Bubu Kitty Fuck.

You probably already know not to play with the cat with your bare hands, but when you went shopping, did you see all those "kitten mitten" glove thingies with extended fingers?

I got some of these to play with my grown cats. Scared them shitless. They love most cat toys: feathers on the end of a fishing pole-like thing, feathers on the end of a bendy stick, pretty much anything with feathers. The glove thing caused one to run and hide and the other to back off slowly while in the classic cat arch, hissing and looking panicky from side to side.

It seems likely that most cats love these, since they're quite popular at the store, so I mention this not to refute Andi, but rather to say Ycat's-cat-toy-loveMV.

I forgot my original reason for posting!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wait, why aren't you supposed to play with kittens with bare hands?

Nora, if you don't want to talk finances with them, maybe tell them you gave up eating out for Lent?

Or just "Oh, I'm really sorry, that's not going to work for us, but maybe you can come by for drinks and dessert?"

I think on account of the scratching. I have a pair of work gloves that do nicely but dangly toys on the fingers sounds way fun.

I read this as "gave up eating for Lent". I laughed out loud before I re-read and realized it was actually a good idea.

All is well that ends in pizza.

"I gave up spending money on eating out for Lent" might get you an invitation for them to pay your way....

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yikes KT, thats crazy. Its things like this that make me hesitant to set up auto-pay in Bill Pay. I do it all manual. Yes, I am paranoid.

Omnis, I'm sorry you're stuck at work today. Are you in the middle of tech still?

Yes. Both stages are in tech. Thankfully Mark is handling the one stage with minor annoyances from the designer as I play tech support for his equipment.

The fun is teching this stage. Poor SonusExM is getting pummeled by the director. I just wanna call Wonder Woman to put some invisible shield for him. Alas, she doesn't exist, nor does her shield. So poor SonExMach is getting bombarded. Not fun for me, but especially so for him. Oy.

If I close my eyes, can it be Sunday around 9pm? Cuz then I'm in time off. It's only through tuesday morning, but still. I need to get away.
