Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Likely they're at OHSU or Providence...

I will keep your friend in my thoughts. I don't really know what you can do to distract yourself while you wait though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Just sit tight, Erin. It sucks though.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I say look at apartment listings until you get news. Or chat with us.

Wishing for the best for your friend.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Gah, nothing new online. I may just implode. Never been good at waiting.

Oooh! I think the dishwasher may be done! I can unload!

I have a fear of vacuuming. Or aversion. Let's just say that there's been mocking. And a question of me being a podCass when I mention having used the evil machine.

Well, i sounds like she's going to come home tonight but is not in good shape. Doctors are speculating about appendicitis or a gall bladder issue, but are wary of diagnostic cat scan because of the pregnancy. I finished unloading the dishwasher, fed the cats and dog, let the dog out to wee, then went over to the hospital give J his dinner (he was finally getting hungry, after the initial terror started to wear off). Didn't get to see her as she was still being poked and prodded by various doctors and "immediate family only" blah blah blah so J and i found a table in an empty room so that he could eat and talk. There were apparently a few moments of terror when the first doctor couldn't find the fetal heart beat but that was quickly cleared up with a sonogram (or ultrasound, i forget) so now they're back to worrying about which part of her belly is causing the pain. Let's hear it for Kaiser and their rapid diagnostic practices. (Did i mention that she has now been in medical care for four hours?)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Much ~ma to your friend, erin_o.
