I am paid very well compared to the rest of the world. It makes me feel better about how poorly I'm paid compared to everyone else I know personally.
edit: but my pay rates weren't on the list, just sub-management-level peeps.
'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

They have a set of sessions that are all about science and technology and when an acquaintance who happens to be a furry found out that I used to be an Imagineer he asked if I would do a session about what it is like to work in the theme park design industry. For some strange reason they are fascinated by theme parks, who'd have thunk it.
Wow. That's absolutley - wow.
Furries. Not my beautiful cake, but fair play to them. It would indeed be fascinating to get to go along and take serious questions from a room full of people in moose suits and shark suits and cat suits and...actually, to be fair, I think I'd have a very hard time looking out over a sea of plush cartoon animals with their hands raised to ask me serious questions about science, and doing anything but giggling hysterically. (It's the juxtaposition that kills me.)
I wanted to go for the whole weekend because on friday night they had a 4 hour Dance Dance Revolution party. THAT must be something to watch.
::speechless::
Exactly. I just wanted to be in the room. Just wow.
You'd be the most vanilla and least fuzzy guy in the room.
There's one for the books.
Wowza - you look gorgeous, Fay. That blue of that top and your blue eyes... yeah, gorgeous.
Fay = Gorgeous.
I need an outfit like that. Srsly.
Gah, FAY! So. Freaking. Gorgeous!
And I'm giggling like mad at the "I Love the King" baseball cap. I mean, I remember you saying that Thai citizens really DO love the King, and I think that's cool, but expressing it on a baseball cap seems so....American and dorky. And therefore not Thai.
I'd also pay good money for a picture of you wearing it.
