Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

If they come with emo frosting, can they be served to me by the most dangerous cupcakes in the world?

(Yes, there is an interview wherein MCR refers to themselves as the most dangerous cupcakes in the world. Oh, my heart.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm hoping that's Trudy's hormones going into overdrive and not her beating her head against ... something.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Yeah kittens! I was hoping it was something like this, Laga!

Aimee, purple dress, purple dress, go purple!

A couple of books I've found really helpful: Living with PCOS

I think I have this at home from when the doctor thought I had PCOS, because I had all sorts of PCOS symptoms, but it turned out that I don't have PCOS, just some completely unknown thing, so I don't really need the book anymore, so if you'd like a copy, Hil, let me know. I'd be happy to check my bookshelves, and send it if I can find it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh. Kids are skipping nap, and I'm verra unhappy about it.

I had a bizarre dream last night that elves (big kind, not tiny kind) were somehow forcing me to marry this girl I vaguely know here. We were not especially enthused, but they insisted. We were going to have to wear weird ugly brown dresses, too. Glad I woke up before the ceremony!

Not Freud here, but I think it's about the woman who made a pass at you. IOW, your unconscious is saying it's a no-go.

So what can I do with two kids who haven't napped? Ideally it should be something that gives me time to grade.

Kitten! Yay! Awesome news Laga. I knew Spidey didn't forget about your b-day.

I vote in favor of the Miracleborns returning to Sunny SoCal.

OK, French help. I got a nibble in Match.com from a French Ex-Pat gal. She ends her notes with "Véro". Just curious it's translation. I assume it's a Ciao kind of thing.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I use the John Frieda Radiant Red Shampoo. It doesn't deposit any color, but it does a great job of preventing fading. My roots aren't showing through as fast as with regular shampoo, which is all I really ask of any of these fancy shampoos.

Véro is the short form of Véronique.
