Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Vortex, you've moved recently so you have some excuse ... but at least you know there's a primary (right? you did, didn't you?).

There was a mini-rally for Obama just up the street from me this past Saturday. They had a little parade before - cars going down the street, honking horns, waving signs. Led by a car with salsa music going full blast. Also followed by a bunch of really impatient people who weren't part of the "parade" but were trying to get across town.

Punishingly Intricate

But only if you went in to the election office, got the absentee ballot, and hand-delivered it to them. Um ... absentee?

Not in MD. You needed to request an absentee ballot by 4pm (if requesting by writing) or 11:59 (if requesting by fax) yesterday. But your actual ballot has to be postmarked before or on 2/12 and received no later than, like, a week after 2/12.

(I researched it for someone yesterday.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I need my head removed so the pain goes away.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I need my head removed so the pain goes away.

It's hard to get insurance to cover this.

Sox, that is completely unacceptable. Hell, after half an hour (if that!), you say "I hired you to watch her, not be on the phone/computer" That's completely unacceptable useless behavior.

I am at the library. I have my computer. I have my jobsearch stuff. I need to update my resume. I...have no willpower.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What meara said, but I don't think I'd let it go 1/2 hour.

Hey, I have a week of doing nothing but lying around and reading coming up- what books would you all recommend for this?
