[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I just popped a whole bunch of bubble wrap and now I feel kinda good.

Cheapest psychotherapy ever. I'm glad you're feeling better, Laga.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, oh, oh - K-Bug and I may be taking a trip down to SD in the spring to check out SDSU.

Oh, yay! That would be awesome! I totally don't know any cool places (cuz I'm lame like that), but I bet Cass could make recommendations and I could find them!

What kind of recs are you looking for, Suzi? I can make a list! I am occasionally good at lists.

Yay pleasant time with your dad, Suzi!

I am contemplating a personal trainer. Not right now, but in a few months' time, maybe. Would you say it's a Good Thing, then?

Yes, definitely. Tends to be an EXPENSIVE thing, but (a) gets me to the gym and (b) gets me not slacking once at the gym and (c) has someone else suggesting things I'm not comfortable doing, and showing me how to do them, and telling me if I'm doing them right.

Without a trainer, I tell myself I"ll go to the gym and I don't. And even if I make it there, I end up doing the few things I"m comfy doing ("Oh, I'll just go on the treadmill a minute and then do some biceps") and then punk out ("Oh, ten minutes is enough on the treadmill....eight reps is enough with the bicep curls...").

When I was working out with a trainer, I not only looked good, I FELT good.

Not sure how ti is in Thailand, but here it's hella expensive, though.

Also, my apartment building is still here, so the "No fire" -ma seems to have worked. :) Thanks guys!

I went to dinner, and out dancing, and though it was sparsely attended and not filled with especially hot girls, I still had fun. And got cruised. And had one friend say "Aww, I'm getting a little crush on you!"

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Dang meara, can I borrow your life for a day?

I am making my first ever batch of superbowl day chili. It's a thing, apparently. I did not know.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yeah...it's definitely not cheap. But I like the idea of them coming to the apartment, and showing me how to use the equipment in the gym.

I was thinking about these guys:

Mostly lurking...

I even got a great prezzie from my dad for graduating/birthday. 2 tickets to each of the 4 plays remaining in ACT's season! I'm excited.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised.

Yay, Suzi!

I am making my first ever batch of superbowl day chili. It's a thing, apparently. I did not know.

Why, yes. It is. Do you have a stash of chips and dip too?

I may actually watch the Super Bowl this year--the first time since the Bears won in, um, 1986? I should Google that. Hang on. Oh, wow! I guessed right! Go me.

Also, GO PATS!

I'm feeling less loopy this morning, but still have a freaking fever. This is getting very old.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jars, good luck with the chili.

Suzi, what a wonderful gift! Enjoy it.

I was hoping to make chili today, but TCG's stepmom wants to do take out pizza, so I'm bringing dip.
