Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

hah! Y'know, Fay, I'd forgotten that was my tag--I changed it when I had started working out with a trainer, and been dumped! I DID get pretty damn hot there, but now I've gained back most of the weight and lost the fitness. But working at getting back there.

Meanwhile, I am hoping the firefighters who just came did not miss anything...the building alarm went off, and we looked around, but there didn't seem to be any smoke. The firefighters pulled up (and were all super hot!!) and didn't see anything. But they couldn't find out how to turn the fire alarm OFF! There's a code, and they didn't have it. Eep! Eventually it stopped on it's own, I think. They left. I'm hoping I don't come home after going out to dinner and dancing, and find no more apartment--I really don't need that!

Our wings are not tired.

GC, thank you for sharing that. How lovely and perfect.

How and you and GF doing?

Can a fever make you go loopy?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

GC, that's stunning.

Meara - aha! I am contemplating a personal trainer. Not right now, but in a few months' time, maybe. Would you say it's a Good Thing, then?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

GC, that's a really lovely poem.

vw, feel better.

We went to a gathering at TCG's father's place today. It was a good time. I told TCG that if he got an invitation for a Superbowl party he should take it but that I would probably stay home. Now somehow both of us are going back to his dad's tomorrow. His dad told me to bring a book or two. He may have been joking, but I'm bringing them anyway. I can't get into football no matter how hard I try.

vw - relax and go with the loopy fever.

The status is NOT quo.

GC, the poem is perfect. Just beautiful.

t loves beth

vw, please take care of you.

No fires for meara!

sj, good luck with the SB party! ND and I are considering going down to Disneyland to use our annual passes since it will be deserted tomorrow.

ETA: Fay, the only time I have ever made real progress in the gym has been with a personal trainer. I actually just called my gym earlier today to check on rates (and then realized I can't afford it right now, but still).
