Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cool NASA thing.

I should have gotten some work done today. I didn't. Oh well.

So in a fit of, I dunno what, my boss gets a burr under his saddle, and steals my board op from me so I gotta run cues. Granted, there were no cues run during the time he was gone; and more importantly, the burr under the saddle was a craving for an In n Out milkshake. So he had Mark go around to all tech staff and take orders, and Boss Man bought 13 Milkshakes! See, this is why I stay. I love my boss.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor kid has had a rough week. She and bf broke up. Ok, no - actually he broke up with her the day before their 3 year anniversary. With all the "let's be friends stuff, I just need space" crap. She has actually handled it better than I would have expected, but my poor punkin.

Poor K-Bug. I hope she is doing okay.

omg. Shaking as driving home. Called 911 on a drunk driver. Dunno why it gave me the shakes. I do hope they catch the driver. Crazy nerves I got.

Huh? Am I missing something. Maybe I don't do enough cooking, but seems like a small vessel for trash. I got a 13 gallon bin I use.

The point of the garbage bowl is that you use it as you're cooking. Vegetable scraps and food wrappers and whatever else goes right in there, and then, when you're done cooking or when there's a non-active cooking time, you empty it out and sort it into the disposal and the trash can and the compost and the recycling bin and wherever else you put your trash. Gives you someplace right there to put all the garbage. I've tried it, and it does help me keep the kitchen a bit neater and saves a little time. However, it's just a big mixing bowl. Not something that you need to pay $18 for to get one that's got Rachael Ray's name on it.

This.

I'm all in favor of the GB concept, but I use an old cookie tin usually lined with a plastic grocery store bag (not a shopping bag, the kind you put produce in). It cost me nothing and doesn't have RR's official seal of approval stamped on the side, and yet somehow, it still holds my trash.
