Ick, the wintery mix has started in Boston. Meh, I says. Meh.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
We've had ice pellets falling from the sky here for a while. I need to go to the market, but I don't feel like driving in this, so instead I am baking pumpkin bread.
Cold rain here. Just struggled out to get lunch. feet are very cold.

I wish I could do the same. I've got bananas that need to magically become bread. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to head out in this in a bit to take my paper to school. Oh, well.
much love and strength to you and gf, gc.

I hope it has magically stopped by the time you have to leave.
Weirdly, when we went out for our morning commute our entire car was coated in frost and ice. I had to chisel all the slushy ice crust off the windshield (and then wait 5-10 minutes for the defroster to start pooting out little thimblesful of warm air) before we could actually see. I'm pretty sure de-icing your car isn't supposed to happen in San Francisco.
It's a minor degree of fuckin' wit' compared to MM's FROZEN DEATH, but still irksome and uncomfortable and in no way conducive to any desire to be at work or do any work while there.
Wait, what? I was specifically told there would be no freezing of anything in San Francisco unless I put it in my freezer myself.

I'm suddenly worried about Deb G. I know her body reacts badly to this sort of weather.
Over here in the East Bay, we have had to de-ice our windshields too.
I find it interesting that when I leave around 5:45 in the morning, I don't have icy windshields, but when K-Bug leaves around 6:45, she does.
