All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My brain is a wild place. I'm taking a sidetrack to talk about "literacy through the years" and remembered something my dad told me about talk he went to once like 15 years ago. Just called him to see if he thought it might relate and get more info on where I could find writing by the guy. Found out I was remembering it as Howard Garnder's research, but actually it was Norman Geschwind's research. And now I'm trying to track it down.

He also told me about a study done about 10 years ago that included recording speech of children to look at their literacy levels. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to track that down, as he doesn't have any more info than that, but it's kind of crazy where all my brain is currently going with all this.

Ok...one more quick post, then I'm off to play with the little ones.

Are any of our librarians around? I'm trying to track down the following article. My library only has issues going back as far as 1998. I can do an ILL, but I would really like to include this part in the part of the paper I'm turning in tomorrow. So, if anyone has access to it, I'd be forever grateful! Here's the info:

ERIC #: EJ310120
Article Name: The Brain of a Learning-Disabled Individual
Author: Geschwind, Norman
Source: Annals of Dyslexia, v34 p319-27 1984
