Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Happy Anneday!

Meanwhile - where is my dinner? I ordered it more than an hour ago - getting on for two, surely, by now.

Pesky Thai House-elves! Bad job!

Meanwhile, as it was getting ridiculous, I have stared fixedly into the fridge and then rustled up a rocket salad with feta and bacon and cherry tomatoes. It was very nice. Now I do not need the steak, really. I'll take it to work for lunch, of course, but still - could have saved that impulsive splashing out of cash, as it turns out.

Also, soon I will want to go to bed.

not your mom's socks.

You were so great to let me borrow them. They're completely on the list. once we're off financial lockdown and I can shop, it's on.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

B Birthday Happies Anne!!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Anne!

And I just saw Susan's question about reinventing her wardrobe while on a budget. You might want to check out an outlet mall in your area. Prices won't be at the thrift store level, but still a good bit cheaper than the regular price. And there should be enough clothing stores to allow for good selection.

happy birthday Anne!

I, too, have been thinking about reinventing my wardrobe to revolve around subtle Edwardian features.

The nice thing about committing to something is that it simples things up so much. And, now that I'm a certifiable eccentric of a certain age...I wouldn't expect any guff. If I got any guff, I guess I'd just thwap the guffer with my parasol.

All is well that ends in pizza.

We here in Minnesota are under a windchill advisory. Windchills from 35-40 below zero.

cherry tomatoes.

Be careful with the tomatoes. They SEEM like they're a good thing, but NSM on the Atkins. I missed tomatoes very much when I was on Atkins.
