Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I like the cut of that one, but it is a little too plain for my taste.

Good idea.

sj, I got the dress I wore for my wedding from Jessica McClintock (the website seems to be down) which proved good for my short self. JCrew wanted me to be tall and lanky, I thought.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

There is also the idea of finding a seamstress, giving her a pattern of a dress that is style you want (regardless of bridal or not), and picking out bridal fabrics and colors, to have it done the way you want. It can be more economical that some of the designer dresses, and also can sometimes be more precisely what you want. Of course, it may not be easy to find a talented and reliable seamstress.

Good idea. I ended up doing that for my prom dress because I couldn't find anything that fit me quite right.
