Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We don't know if we tell him or not.

hell yes. If he doesn't raise the pay, you might get someone crappy just because they'll take the money.

Our wings are not tired

Except for the fact that the economy is really depressed in that region so he can probably get away with underpaying.

Gotta love that.

Thrive to spite them

I just got a call from my future boss saying the background info I filled out didn't have 2 boxes checked one for driver's license and one for credit.

Um, my credit isn't the best. And ya'll know the saga of my driver's license (for the most part).

I was honest about it, but can I have some continued jobma because I'm worried this is going to trip me up. I did emphasise that I work in a very security concious location and I deal with all kinds of personal information. But the new job will include opening checks so they want someone who wouldn't steal. But I would never do that!

Thrive to spite them

Also, I'm still at this place until the 8th so hopefully we'll get someone in I can train. There are some specialized things the new person will need to know and a lot of weight is going to be put on my coworker.

My office will be down to the Big Boss, my Co Worker, and the intern (who is only here M/W/F is very new and doesn't know a lot), Co Worker is going to be taking on all the payroll responsiblities and there will be a new person but it's going to be rather sink or swim for whoever it is.

Best. Haircut. Ever.

$10,000/year paycut for me. Went from an Office Manager to a CFO and still. He got 80+ resumes within 24 hours.
