[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It was indeed JUST THAT GOOD. Damn.

Meatballs are my new favorite thing. Spaghetti and meatballs (dinner last night), meatball sandwiches, meatball pizza (that's dinner tonight) (I made a double batch of meatballs).

The potato and rosemary bread won't be available again till Thursday (it's a weekly special at our bakery) so the dream cannot be revisited until then. However, I suspect by Thursday all the meatballs will be gone.

Punishingly Intricate

Meatballs are my new favorite thing.

I put turkey meatballs in some pasta e fagioli I made on Friday night! SO YUMMY! (and I had a bunch leftover so I froze it...i'm sure I'll be defrosting later in the week.)

Man, I just finished eating my lunch which was a homemade meatball and cheese sandwich on potato onion rosemary bread. I toasted up and it's ALL GONE NOW and I'm sad. Because it was delicious.

No fair, Nora, taunting about the meatballs!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I thought my lunch (homemade-ish ham, potato, corn chowder) was pretty good. I didn't know it sucked until I read Nora's lunch!!

I will say, however, that the Fisherman's BrewScrewup was quite tasty. Very Porter-like, but not quite as heavy. So I thank you for that.

Thrive to spite them

I had a Jimmy Johns sandwich on my way back from filling out paperwork at my new (!) job. I've told everyone at work I'm leaving and they are both excited and sad. Some of "my guys" are taking me out to lunch later this week and I've had several people say "they better throw you a party!". And the director here told me I'll always have a home here, it's so cool to have that out pouring.

Going back to Second Life -- if anyone's interested in what it looks like I've got a flickr page -- [link] not many pictures up right now but I plan on uploading a bunch when I get home.

I am sorry to bum people who didn't have my lunch out. If it makes you feel better, now I am one of those people. And I am sad.

Yes, but some of us know that you have PLENTY more meatballs at home.
