Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Susan!!!

Mom's also making plans to outfit her self with a portable crib, high chair, and other things so they don't have to lug everything with them. They drive from there (South Carolina) to here, but they car has limited space and I think Mom will get a kick out of having the stuff.

When my sister was pregnant the first time, my dad bought her a crib, and made her put it up right away when she was at six months.

When I was pregnant with Owen, we shopped second hand for an entire second nursery for my twin sister's house. Crib, high chair, exersaucer and babygates. She had the space and it helped A LOT because we had a small car and we had a lot less to lug around for visits.

Happy New Year! Ended up playing strange monkey game on the PS2 for a while, then popped in Stardust - paused it at midnight to ring in the new year and then finished the movie.

Everyone else is still asleep or hiding upstairs. I still have the other family here - so will have to be SOCIAL this morning.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I'm 37. I feel oldish, but I'm sure that'll pass. I have a B&N gift card that I got for Christmas and haven't spent yet, and DH has promised me goodies from Cupcake Royale.

Music City Bowl

We saw this from the air yesterday as we were coming back from Birmingham. We changed planes in Nashville, and not long after we'd taken off, DH pointed out the stadium.

When we were waiting to board at the gate in B'ham, Annabel saw a little sandwich shop that purported to offer ice cream, and we decided to buy her a small cup. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered the ice cream machine was broken, which led to much sorrow and anger on my daughter's part. I promised her that if nothing else, we could certainly get ice cream once we got back to Seattle, but I couldn't do anything about the absence of it in B'ham, and our layover in Nashville was too short to go looking for it.

She spent the entire 8 hours of our journey, not counting the hour or two she napped, thinking about that ice cream. At one point I was showing her the map in the back of the flight magazine because she's interested in maps, and in hopes that she'd understand how very long the Nashville-Seattle flight was compared to the B'ham-Nashville. A little later she had the map our herself, pointed to Seattle, and said, "We're going to Seattle. There's ice cream there."

So when we got home I ordered pizza from one of our regular places (Pagliacci has the chicken-rosemary-potato seasonal special, yum) and also requested a pint of chocolate gelatto. Now at one point in this long saga, Annabel had mentioned strawberry, but I forgot. And in my defense, AB adores chocolate anything, so I really did think I was getting her what she most wanted.

When I set the dish of chocolate gelatto in front of her after she was good and patient and ate a slice of pizza first, she cried. Because it wasn't strawberry. Then I almost cried, and DH talked to her and she cheered up and enjoyed the chocolate as soon as she had her first bite of it.
