Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

did you see the FSU performance of Sweeney Todd

Alas, I did not. However, I was up close and personal with "the chair"! It's about a 3 hr drive to FSU these days. Not bad but just far enough to prevent curbing my "Kool Beans" or "Main Ingredient" cravings on a regular basis.

I had planned to go up to see Sweeney; however, I came down with a pretty wretched case of bacterial Bronchitis and didn't feel like making the drive. Plus, I didn't know anyone in Tally that I could see the show with, not that I am opposed to going to things alone it's just nice to have someone along to share the experience.

I need to check what else School of Theatre is producing this year. I'm overdue for a day or weekend trip up there.

Thrive to spite them

I have sad news for you, the Main Ingredient is closed--at least that's what I've heard.

I saw Sweeney Todd on the last night, the woman playing Mrs Lovitt was getting sick and in the second half her singing was lip synched while her understudy sang. They had to cut out the whole By the Sea sequence.

But it was still very well done and I really enjoyed it.

Main Ingredient Closed! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the favorite places one of my friends and I liked to go.

I heard Sweeney was well done. I think one of my professors directed it. I also missed Urinetown last year and Into the Woods this year.

Thrive to spite them

I messed up the dates on Into the Woods and missed it.

It was really well done, the sets all looked really good and the acting was good. And they had a neat history of the story/musical in the lobby.

That was the rumor I heard about the Main Ingredient, but I'd actually never been there so I'm not sure if it is or not.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

alright bitches you talked me into it. I am going to a bar by myself. (it's The Dolphin on Artesia if anything happens to me- which it won't, 'cause I feel pretty good about this) I was sad to realize I have to wear my black pants with the buckles because even my fat hot-pants are too small. Then I was even sadder because this means that if I am successful in getting in shape in the new year, my black pants with the buckles will be too big. wah!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Have fun storming the Dolphin, Laga!
