Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We're watching Planet of the Apes.

That's kind of reassuring. As we look toward the future year and the years to come, we can comfort ourselves thinking, "Yeah, the future's going to hell, but at least the Apes will be the ones who'll have to deal with it."

And a little befuddled by your lack of celebratory gumption.
We have to be up just after 6:30 Eastern time in order to be ready to meet J&P, so we need to be asleep early.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're also watching the Planet of the Ape marathon.

And less cool haunting story of the bad boy with blue lips. Freaky.

Eep! And this!

The creepiest part of this story is that my friend, Jules was talking to her friend OUTSIDE in the yard while her daughter was playing INSIDE. They were discussing this little boy and how they thought he might not be an imaginary friend and how strange they found the whole situation. When they came back into the house, the 3 year old, who had been nowhere near them when they had the conversation came into the room and INSISTED that he "was too an imaginary friend!" The little girl keeps telling her mother that the little boy tells her to do "bad things." Which could be her way of dealing with learning right and wrong or it could be a creeptastic, angry little ghost.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Our friends left early, so we're ringing in the new year quietly, probably by watching Buffy. TCG is finishing up the clean up, and I'm quite tipsy on margaritas. It's a good NYE.

Thrive to spite them

I meant to stockpile a little chocolate and alcohol but I forgot, so I'm ringing in the new year with my usual Diet Coke.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"Maybe I can forego the champagne and have margaritas instead. I'll start a new New Years Eve tradition!"

wow, the champagne junkie in me would not allow me to simply hit "post message" after typing that. I guess some store somewhere better be open when I get off work. Must Have Bubbles!

You know those obnoxious people who say, "see you next year!" when you leave work on the 31st of December? I am one. Mwah-hah-hah-ha!
