Oh lordy, just got home from a night out with some friends. I swear I am still drunk. Think I'm going to stumble to the shower and then nap...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Safe travel home, Kristin. DH was ready to drive down and see you. (he is always willing to go to the keys) The 4 hour drive each way didn't seem to sway him. The house full of teen and work load to do kept this from happening.
When you visit Florida next time you need to be closer than 3 hours to the north or 4 hours to the south!
Aw, Laura, how sweet! There actually is a small possibility that I may be in Ft. Lauderdale to visit my dad at the end of March, but I can't promise anything. I am bummed that I haven't gotten to see you (and DH) when I've been in Florida this year.
Now Fort Liquordale is around the corner! If you can we will make a point of getting together.
Sane travels.
Argh. I just went grocery shopping. I brought my own bags. The bagger put about four items into my bags and then switched to plastic bags. I took the stuff out of the plastic bags, put it into my bags (where there was still plenty of room), and handed the plastic bags back to the bagger and said, "Here, you can use these for someone else." He crumpled them up and put them into the garbage.
Safe travels, Kristin!
He's also the dad in "Sixteen Candles" which has some of my favorite Dad& daughter scenes in it. "I don't think you're a dork, your mom doesn't think you're a dork..."

Yet another reason why I love SF, where the grocery stores can no longer use plastic bags.
I've gotten in the habit of packing the groceries in the bag as I shop. Then I put the packed bag on the conveyor belt. It keeps me limited to what I can carry, the weight is evenly distributed, and no wasted plastic.
I found a suit to wear to the interview! at least suiting separates that look nice. I don't know what top I'm going to wear, it was very frustrating looking for everything since most of thestores are in their summer clothes. All the tops I liked weren't in my size. I found the suit at Kohl's. They have bikinis out now.
And I realized I have to run out to work because I left my portfolio there and also need a copy of my application so I can copy down all the info for the places I used to work (I can't find the copy I had here).
I'm trying to remain positive about this. I don't know what to say if I'm asked what my weaknesses are and I have that gap in working due to illness, but I'm just going to say that it was due to medical reasons that have since been resolved and leave it at that.
Any interview tips that people can give me?
