Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem? Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

That Johnny Depp story is so sweet.

Hello everyone! I'm petsitting! In a house with HD tv. I got to watch Aussie Open tennis in HD!!!

Also, FNL!!! And Psych! I was most disappointed that this week's episode of BSG on UHD was "Bastille Day." No pretty space battles in HD.

Unfortunately, I also have a terrible cold. Yesterday, I felt like death warmed over. Fortunately, today I'm feeling much better. (The dogs I'm sitting were also strangely subdued yesterday and much happier today. I don't know whether they were missing their mommy or just reflecting my mood.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

It was -14ºF when Windsparrow went to work an hour ago. Now that the sun is up, it's shot up to -9ºF

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, I don't even want to know what the wind chill is here, but we've got wind advisories until mid-afternoon. (Yay Chicago!) Brrr.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

8 degrees here, but it may get all the way up to 25. That seems almost balmy.

Our wings are not tired.

Chilly in here! Stay warm my dears. Hot cocoa thoughts headed your way. It was so cold last night I closed the windows, but they are open again now.

Settling in for a day of work, computer work, so some time can be spent at play too.

One of the young guests did the dishes this morning! Can I trade him for my kid?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Kristin, if you're around, you should check out this McSweeney's article.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I hear you, Laura. I am wearing a thick sweatshirt, THAT"S how chilly it is here in Cali.

The status is NOT quo.

Tom, I won't be able to check that link until tomorrow, but thanks.

Key West decided to make it easier on us by being rainy and windy today. We leave in a few hours.

Our wings are not tired.

The rain was a beautiful and welcome thing, except it had been so long that DH left a bunch of his tools in the driveway to get soaked. Maybe he should do that more often.
