I went and had Buddha's Delight for lunch, but I was reading and distracted until 1/2 way through an drealized there was no tofu in it. I asked and they don't put tofu in their Buddha's delight. Which I think is weird. It wasn't that great though, I have yet to find a good Chinese place nearish to work.
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I am suddenly so tired, I can hardly type. It doesn't help that my belly is now so huge that even the giant elastic waistband maternity pants are uncomfortable.
I gather Buddha was a big fan of tofu?
I've been using BART as a verb...probably ever since I got here. I think verbifying nouns is almost a given in this age where we Google everything.
I wasn't objecting to verbifying nounage.
I was just saying that it sounded like slang for puking.
Eeek. I have an interview. If they like me, they'll want me to start right away.
Freaking. Out.
Great news, DJ! Interview~ma!
Wooooot, woooot, DJ!!!!
Of course they will like you. Duh.
Is it a good job DJ? If so... AWESOME!
Sometimes I think that half the reason I wanted to be an actor is that Broadway works nicely with my body's natural need to sleep from 2:00 am to 10:00 am.This is so me. I have been a night owl since early middle school, at least. When I got to college and started in theater, I was like "ooo, a job that works at night. PERFECT!" Of course, now I am a management, so it's a mix of day hours AND night hours, and that's whats killing me. No regular sleep/wake schedule. So I'm constantly shifting between the two. And yes, shower, a MUST in the morning, or brain does not wake. And, sad to say, being the slightly Green person that I am, they have to be long, steamy, hot showers too. :: shame ::
Off to watch the crazy Educational Touring show again with cute (but dumb) actress. Joy. Wouldn't be so bad, if the rehearsal space for that show wasn't off site in the next town. Uggg.
It's in the area I want to get back into, and the work environment sounds really good-work hard, but enjoy it. They have zen gardens and basketball every Friday.
When I was unemployed/consulting, I found that my natural rhythm was sleep until 10AM, go to bed at 2AM. I still find myself going to bed at 2, despite the fact that I have to get up at 8:30 (which I know is a crazy luxury)
