My mom called me around 10 last night (i.e. long after I went to bed) to say that they picked up the dogs and they were just fine. I don't remember much else, though.
Oh, good! That's a long day for those guys! I'm glad they made it there safe and sound.
I was just writing something in my LJ, though, about how nice it was that you guys go to bed early. I didn't feel guilty going to be early myself then. It's kind of funny.
But then I found out how it was made and got grossed out.
I saw the culture last night, and really, I don't think it's any grosser than making bread... I'm just unsure about the actual tea...

One nice thing with that is that Joe and I had a long conversation this morning at 4am about this year's taxes, the work done on our air conditioner, how to rearrange the bed once the baby comes, and other mundane stuff.

In my world, this is one of the circles in hell.
I know this is buffista conversation number #37, but it's so nice to be awake when the house is quiet and feel ready for the day.
are you on the mainland Stephanie? Is VW? I'm not up to date.
Maybe, though I'm worried it will sound like a ridiculous request, a little ~ma for selling our house in baltimore, if you have any to spare. We lowered the price in hopes that we can have things a little less topsy-turvy before mid spring.
I'm excited about Amy coming North and also javachik's visit. DCistas, have fun this weekend.
Gronk. It is not nice to be up when the house is quiet! Want to be asleep!
YMorningMV.
Continued house sale ~ma, Sox.
Sara and Iris together would be hilarious. And dangerous if one were to get too close. Sell tickets!

Now I want to throw Em in on this mix.
I am exhausted. My English class last night was kickass. The campus is totally smoke-free, so naturally I happened to sit next to the other two smokers in class. At break, the three of us took off like the little burn-outs in high school, looking for a safe haven free from the patrolling campus smoking cops. I felt so rebellious!
My assistant went to get her hair cut and saw that the guy ahead of her in the stylist's room was Eddie Izzard! She caught a glimpse of him through the archway, and spent the time in the waiting room madly texting everyone she knew that she was OMGWTF in the same building as he was. Then her stylist called her in and Eddie was still there! And she was too nervous to look at him! But he introduced himself! And was all nice and friendly and even handsomer in person!!!!1!!!!
SQUEEEEEEEE! That's so cool. I'm so glad to hear he's a nice guy.
Susan, hands are HARD to get right so I think a lot of artists will avoid doing them if they can.
