Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee. I remember going off on a long rant once when some crappy reality tv I was watching was interrupted at a crucial moment by a tornado warning. Picture me yelling out loud at the tv "Oh, come on! It's Saturday night and I'm at home watching freaking reality tv. If the tornado gets me, how big a loss is it anyway?!"

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Right! And I don't even need to go to a basement or anything. I mean, I don't have one, and they wouldn't want me to go there if I did.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ohhhkaaayyyy ...

Happened to pop onto Craig's List and look at the want ads for Joe. And happened to see my co-worker's job posted.

Er?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Er!

That's troubling.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

a meara:

Happy Belated Anniversary, CaBil & Ms. Havisham!

Heart-ma for Teppy's dad and stress-ma for her.

Definitely. Ah, I see that things are good w/Dad O' Tep, if odd.

Susan, I'm so sorry.

{{{GC & GF}}}

My first rock concert was Warrant, the DirtyRottenFilthyStinkingRich tour. I was 15. The second was Styx, 1 1/2 years later. Not many bands came up to AK.

I don't remember my first movie star crush -I think either Val Kilmer or Lou Diamond Phillips. Maybe. Hrm.

waves I went to MSP this weekend. Saw snow for the first time in over two years, as well as two excellent productions and many friends. Yay!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Totally a Zonkey. It's like a little equine Goth thing! Adorability! It is now my wallpaper.

The convention is first syllable father, second syllable mother

So Zonkey is just as good as Zebdonk, by this rationale! I mean, if you can have a Liger, then you should surely have a Zebkey or a Zonkey rather than a Zebdonk?

Besides - Zonkey is an awesome word!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

The convention is first syllable father, second syllable mother.

Thanks! Now that you said it, I seem to remember hearing that at some point in time.

if you can have a Liger, then you should surely have a Zebkey or a Zonkey rather than a Zebdonk?

That was my thinking.

Zonkey is an awesome word!

I liked it, plus it seemed to fit the Gothy little equine.

not your mom's socks.

this.

gronk. Because PA and northwards news stations were on snowpocalypse patrol last night, I canceled my Amtrak ticket (which, if there's a weather problem in NY or Boston that snarls the bridges, invariably backs up Philadelphia-Baltimore heading north & I feared for my getting home in the same century). And thusly, I am driving this morning - IN PERFECTLY NICE WEATHER, listening to all the forecasters going "phew! missed us completely". To which I say GRONK.
