So, Day 1 of Atkins is commencing with breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
Mmmm, tasty!

Awesome, Susan! So glad you enjoyed the performance!
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Way to go Susan!
Are people watch and posting Sarah Connor Chronicles? I can't wait to hear Summer Glau say, "Come with me if you want to live"!
I suppose that depends on which time zone you are in, and where to post. As we are on the West Coast, I think we will behind the times.
I will be watching and posting in Boxed Set. Can't wait! Happy to be on EST. Watching football on FOX I have seen her deliver that line about a billion times today. I think it will be much more fun in the actual scene.
So would it be mean to stop by and taunt the left coasters?
I'm only gonna watch because Glau is on.
I'm only gonna watch because Glau is ono ya. This is me.
Also, John Enbom (from VM) is on the writing staff.
The reviews I have seen have been terrific. The boys are skeptical, but are going to watch, and possibly mock, with me.
I used most of the rest of the sun to rake leaves and pine needles from the last two windstorms. I've discovered the downside of living on a beautifully tree-lined street!
I just talked to my mom. She's in pretty good spirits--but she's been writing out her memoirs and is trying to finish a quilt she started for one of my nephews. Also, she and Very Conservative Oldest Brother are going to see her lawyer next week just to make sure her will and so on are in good order.
I'm trying to decide how much to talk about it at work, with my writers' groups, and so on. So far I've just told y'all, the choir, and one of my critique partners whose own mother died of cancer a little over a year ago. I feel like I need to tell people at work, but I don't want to be smothered with concern, which chaplains are fully capable of doing to someone like me who finds excessive empathy and hairpats a bit of a burden. I think I'm going to tell them, but also say that if I need support beyond what I get from my friends and at church, I'll let them know.
