Our wings are not tired.

My first stadium concert was either Diana Ross or Smokey Robinson, don't remember which was first. Diana Ross had her daughters open with her and they were wee and talented and cute. I've always kept my eye on Tracee Ellis Ross for this reason.

Huh. I've only ever known one person from Temple -- Hall and Oates, with their meet-cute-in-the-service-elevator-ducking-from-gunfire tale, are doing very nicely at keeping my personal ratio of Temple alums who are made of awesome at 100%.

I would agree, since boyfriend went there for undergrad. :)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

(I love how his opinion on the Haunted Mansion are the same as Jilli's!)

He can't have it! It's MY destiny to live in the Haunted Mansion, dammit.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I think my first actual concert was Ricky Nelson, just before he died.

Either that or the woman who sang "Queen of Hearts' whose name escapes my memory.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I went to the same H&O concert tour as JZ, Vortex and Plei as my first concert.

I misremember...did you grow up in the Bay Area? Because, if so, maybe you and I were at the same concert together OMG!!11!!!1

Isn't he just about the right age to have been there for the H&O meet cute/battle of the bands with actual weaponry? Does he have any interesting scars?

Punishingly Intricate

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

the woman who sang "Queen of Hearts' whose name escapes my memory.

Juice Newton. Why the hell do I remember that and not things infinitely more important?

Our wings are not tired.

I saw Juice Newton and Sheena Easton in concert --together, I think. At what used to be the Concord Pavillion. I loved her James Bond song.

I shall ask!
