Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Anyone want to wager a guess at my first concert?

Hint: I was 14.

Thrive to spite them

My only other good concert story is Metallica - I ended up with floor seats, right by the mosh pit. James Hetfield threw his beer cup into the audience and some of it landed on me! Which at the time was cool and not gross. looking back it was gross.

Not as gross as what one of the girls I went to the concert with did. I went with my then best friend and some of her friends who were all underage at the time, I was all of 19. They'd evidentally spent the day getting high and was coming off her buzz and wanted to get drunk, so when we were walking out of the parking garage to the stadium, she found a beer bottle someone had left and took a swig out of it! And then looked for another!

Ann, that's a ferret.

I went to a Conway Twitty concert before I had any choice in the matter. I was just old enough to know what he was talking about in "You've Never Been This Far Before."

I didn't get to choose concerts until we moved into town. And even then, only during the 4-H County Fair. The first year, I chose Chuck Berry and Bobby Goldsboro. But I can't for the life of me remember which was first.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Have you heard the new album?

No I haven't. You must report!

he was still FUCKING HAWT

Yeah. For a while there he bugged a bit with his video of his baby's birthing and his tantric sex shtick, but now I just give him props.

Punishingly Intricate

the dead milkmen made me do it.

I saw them early on too. At a "teen dance club" that was a former bowling alley. There were like 13 people there.

Heart-ma for Teppy's dad and stress-ma for her.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

If it *doesn't* collide with Pacificon and you CAN'T find someone eager as heck, I'll go.

March 1st at the Paramount. The only reason I'm waffling is because they'll be playing stuff off of their latest release, which I haven't heard. If it was another "Operation: LiveCrime" sort of show, I would be buying tickets right now.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah, Sting's still kinda sexay, IMO, and he and Trudie seem to be keeping the home fires burning. [link]

In Philly?

Aimee, tell. Otherwise, I'll guess Debbi Gibson or Tiffany and earworm everyone.

For Aimee, I'm guessing NKotB. Don't ask me why.
