Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Strange event of the day: going to church with my mom and hearing a high school classmate of mine, nice guy but he sowed enough wild oats for ten people, give a revival-style come-to-Jesus sermon.

I was fine with it, because it's not like it surprises me that people here are more conservative religiously than I am. It was just weird coming from someone I remember as such a complete party boy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have spent the past two days sporadically wondering why there were no posts in Bitches.

Turns out, you have to subscribe to a thread before it shows up in Message Center.

Catching up now...

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, the good news is that I have a homemade turkey pot pie in the oven, using the leftover pie crust. Bad news is that I left a plastic bag on the ceramic stove that melted onto the still hot heating element. I have scraped and scrubbed, but I feel that there is a thin layer of plastic on the burner, and all I can do is burn it off and stink up the apartment and possibly fill it with toxic fumes. thoughts?

I am inclined to agree with you. It has been FAR to hot here this winter.

Kristin is a freak with hot weather. I think this week sounds halfway decent for Orlando, but she loves heat and is fine with humidity. She's crazy that way.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Turn off smoke detectors first? Because if you are going to have to deal with icky toxic fumes, it should be silent.

At that stage, honestly? I would just burn it clean. I have no other tricks to try.
