I just got finished with a half hour go round with my son's school. Apparently his doctor printed stuff on his health form that should have been stamped, and he put his tetanus shot on the wrong line. They were sending him home until it was right. Problem is his doctor has been in critical care since before Christmas and isn't blinking his eyes much less signing stuff and the last thing his office needs to deal with is redoing my kid's shot record. In the end I sweet talked them into correcting it themselves.

Trust my rage
Our neighbor, who happens to be the mayor of the rather large town where we live, has roosters on his property. They never wake me up but Ellie is very scared of them (not the actual bird, just the noise) and whenever she hears them, it requires instant holding by mom. We've been getting away from that, some, but I'm always amazed at how she manages to hear them whereas I tune them out.

This thing where I can't get to sleep at night, therefore can't drag my ass out of bed the next morning? Blows. Got a dance class tonight, hopefully I'll wear myself out enough to crash.
