Also, billytea -- THANKS FOR THE PENGUIN!! It's much smarter than the Fairy Penguins at the Cincy Zoo. We put it on the Christmas tree, although it isn't, technically, an ornament.
You're welcome! I think it's an ornament now. I wonder if it'd be possible to decorate a tree entirely with penguins?
And somehow, I also wonder if y'all cringe at my posts, as my grammar, spelling, & punctuation are not always up to snuff.
I was looking for your original post so I could COMM it (Love WindSparrow's response!) when I found this
Some how this week, in the throws of long work hours called tech...
and I realized that I had noticed that your grammar was not perfect but only because I think
throws
should be
throes
and I had just listened to that Minnesota Public Radio broadcast about homonyms and homophones and all those other homos and I realized this is one I hadn't thought of before! But I didn't cringe. I said, "hey neat." So if you can't be acurate, at least you can be amusing. (says the girl who often reads over a post, changes, something, changes it back, it still doesn't look right, says, "oh screw it!" and posts it anyway. Or sometimes I say, "oh nobody gives a shit what I think." and delete the post... so close this one came... so close)
We took our Christmas tree down tonight. Poor little tree; I'm going to miss it. It gave our somewhat dark living room just enough light to read by comfortably.

great pictures! Have there been many buffista weddings?
Only 2 married couples, thus far, have met through b.org (or its forerunners): Nora & Tom, and Hec & JZ.
But a good handful of Buffistas have gotten married during the existence of the board.
And then came the sprog....
