Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Someone just suggested to me that I should "get" Anita Roddick for an event. Anita Roddick who founded the Body Shop.

Anita Roddick who died in September.

Yeah, maybe not...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I really like Bill Richardson, who is reasonable, experienced, personable, and doesn't seem to have a chance in hell.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Freedonia!

Land of the spree!

And the home of the knave!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, maybe not...

I doubt Jesse's committment to Sparkle Motion.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My dad would go ballistic on my mother if she got parking tickets. Ballistic. The numbers were posted yearly in London, and I think it was his mission (har) to get Jamaica in the zeroes every time.

Normal people get tickets every now and again, though. But that wasn't good enough for my father.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The past half hour has been the slowest in the history of recorded time. The clock has stopped moving.

I can go home in half an hour, but I don't think it will ever get here.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I feel much the same way, Dana. Bleh!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm working on a project that's late. I really want to get it done today. So I sorta' want time to go slow so I can finish it. OTOH I'm stressed from the thing, so going home would be nice.

I think I need a massage and some time in a jacuzzi....

Punishingly Intricate

There has been jackhammering on outside my office this last hour. Or, possibly, in my head. But it's kind of hilarious considering that a) I had too much drinks last night and b) I'm trying to work on something that's pretty technical and difficult. It's like the Universe is laughing at me! ha, freakin', ha.
