I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Nephew eventually warmed up and we made chocolate chip cookies. Niece continues to hate me. She also hates my brother and my dad.

Weird kid.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's a triumph of the human spirit that Shirley Temple didn't end up spending her days in the attic with the mummified body of her mother.

Or that she didn't end up in a downward spiral of drug-fueled... downward-spiralishness...

But she did become a Republican.

The human spirit can only take you so far.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I know there are places that advertise live sex shows in New Orleans, but I haven't been myself, so I can't say what all is involved. Or the legality thereof.

I have been to one (we were doing "Shit we haven't done in New Orleans" and went) No actual penetration, and the thing ended with silly string.

Stripping must always be accompanied with sports.

-t is me as far as rooting for the Cowboys. My hope is that with all the injuries this year we at least have a sense of what our depth is, and maybe next year when everybody's healthy again we'll get our shot.

I think the thing with the Chicago fans that rubbed me the wrong way (and it was by no means the majority of them, who I have found to be lovely people) was that no one saw those signs and said, "Hey, Dude. Not. Cool."

I flew Northwest to Budapest (well, from Dallas to Mineapolis to Amsterdam to Budapest) and found it pretty pleasant on the whole.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Kat if your school district is anything like mine, they will do anything to make a buck...even if it means screwing their own employees. I'm glad to hear you discovered their "evil plot" ahead of time and were able to do something. I feel for those who didn't find the memo and will be facing paying out larger amounts in the new year.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

If you opted to do nothing about an overpayment, then in 2008, you are now responsible for not only the net overpayment, but also the GROSS overpayment. So while I was responsible for the $4000 they said I received, on paper, they overpaid me by $7000 something. But the the $3000 in taxes were not my responsibility. Since I resolved it in the same tax year, it's been fixed somehow.

I think this whole thing was planned and run by insane trolls. It's the only plausible explanation.

I still can't believe how the union rolled over.

So...I think I have a dentist appointment this week. And possibly a haircut. But since one appt was made over 6 months ago, and the other 2...I guess I should call. When they open, which is the 2nd. Hope that wasn't the day of the dentist appt.

I'd write these things down somewhere but then that'd be another thing to keep track of!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Hi Burrell!

Kat that is crazy.

I am sad for you who are at work. Luckily I am not. less luckily, mac is also home and I am sick. I finally got up at 11, but I bet I could lay down and sleep another 3-4 hours.

I am getting us lunch and getting black-eyed peas in the crock pot for tonight's party thingy at a friends.

The weather thing tells me it is 41, but is sounds really windy. If it was 41 and calm I might take mac to the playground, but wind is my nemesis.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If I have champagne in the fridge, does it do anything bad to it to let it get to room temperature and then rerefrigerate it later? I am wondering if I should just buy new stuff for tonight instead of taking it through the temp changes.

It shouldn't if it hasn't been opened.
